Five scripts from Doctor Who Series 8 have been leaked online.
BBC Worldwide issued a statement pleading for fans not to share the leaked material, after the first five scripts of Peter Capaldi’s debut series surfaced online.
The statement reads: “BBC Worldwide is currently investigating a security issue around Doctor Who Series 8 where unfinished material has inadvertently been made public. We deeply regret this and apologise to all the show’s fans, the BBC and the cast and crew who have worked tirelessly making the series.
“We would like to make a plea to anyone who might have any of this material and spoilers associated with it not to share it with a wider audience so that everyone can enjoy the show as it should be seen when it launches. We know only too well that Doctor Who fans are the best in the world and we thank them for their help with this and their continued loyalty.”
The scripts are understood to have been disseminated online after being sent to the BBC Worldwide’s newly opened Latin America headquarters in Miami for translation.
“The opening episode is being simulcast globally so of course translations have to be prepared in advance,” a BBC source said.
If we at Doctor Who 24/7 discover the leaked scripts, we will NOT be sharing them on our page!
Doctor Who Series 8 will begin on Saturday, 23rd August on BBC One.
Inspired by some photo edits I saw earlier I looked back through my old snaps to see what I could do, this is the result. I look so worried! Haha.
Takes a looooong time to clean up after a convention, even with a fantastic mop!
Spent all day yesterday working with the boy wizard himself! Harry Potter lookalike Luke Williams is fantastic guy and can even do great magic tricks! I think the Doctor and Mr Potter would make a fantastic duo.
This made me cackle so much! How has Karen even achieved this face?!
You know, in over nine hundred years of adventures in time and space, from Gallifrey to Trenzalore, I’ve sampled the finest of cuisines this universe has to offer. From Kronkburgers to Pontefract cakes. But not everyone has a sexy blue box to explore the tastes of the universe. That’s why I’ve created my own range of herbs, so good that they’ll make your taste buds shout: GERONIMO! I’m the Doctor, and trust me, cooking’s cool. After all, I am a Thyme Lord.
Plunging that sonic into the custard felt goooOOOood!
No sonics were harmed in the making of this video.
A bit of a Throwback Thursday! Remember when I was let loose in a kitchen and created my own range of cooking products? No…?
Well here’s the video created by the brilliant guys from Sneaky Zebra.
